1st ultrasound.

we had our first ultrasound today!!
our little baby J was perched inside me looking much like a blob with a beautiful beating heart :){the heart rate was 125}
we thought i was 7 weeks 2 days, but the baby is measuring 6 weeks 2 days.
apparently in the first trimester it's totally normal for the dates to be off like that. our new due date is january 12, 2011.

we're actually excited to be a little later along than we thought because we are planning to have all of matt's {extended} family to AZ for christmas to new year's this year...with half of them staying in our home and half staying w/ matt's parents. it was going to be cutting it pretty close with a jan 5th due date. plus i'll be finishing my third semester of nursing school in december and need a little extra cushion time to take my finals, etc. let's hope baby J stays right where he/she belongs until mid january :)

we are soooo excited. we can't wait to tell our parents, siblings and best friends. we also can't wait to tell the rest of the world. this blog has been private for several weeks now...i can't wait to make it public!
